Digital inclusion in the Nordics – Where to next?

How can digital inclusion become a tool to reach the Nordic Vision of becoming the world’s most integrated region by 2030? This webinar will present lessons learned from our research project Digital Inclusion in Action. The event is organised by Nordic Network for Lifelong Learning.

Nordregio researcher Maja Brynteson will present lessons learned from our work with digital inclusion:

  • The consequences of digital exclusion in the Nordic-Baltic region and its societal impact.
  • The importance of consistent monitoring and tracking to ensure meaningful progress.
  • How to rollout new digital products successfully, emphasising the critical role of user involvement.
  • Why coordinated efforts and clearly defined responsibilities among stakeholders are essential for digital inclusion.
  • Who the key actors are in the digital inclusion landscape – and how to strengthen cooperation.

Public, private and civil society actors working with digitally vulnerable citizens are warmly welcome to join the discussion. Together we will explore potential cooperation possibilities and discuss what is needed to reach the next level.
