Vitor Miranda

Vitor Miranda is the Project Manager for Nordic Statistics at Nordregio, where he leads several projects related to the production and dissemination of comparable statistics on the Nordic countries. He is a demographer with over 20 years of experience in the production of socio-economic analyses and management of research projects in Sweden, the United States and Brazil. He has published work in the areas of regional and social statistics, migration, integration, labour market, population projections and birth rates. He holds a PhD degree in demography and sociology and is a former chair of the Swedish Demographic Association.
